Natural Organic Products Review – Miessence Organic Shampoo
Of all the organic shampoos that I have used, Miessence line of organic shampoos is my favorite. Miessence is one of those natural organic products that is high quality and very pure. This is because their shampoo is outstanding in quality and it delivers what it promises: healthy and shiny hair. Miessence does not use any artificial ingredients or anything synthetic in their products. As a matter of fact, their ingredients are mostly certified organic. This is not just a claim made by the company but verified by an accredited independent third party that the ingredients are indeed certified organic. What this certification means is that organic ingredients were grown, cultivated and processed without the e use of synthetic chemicals such as insecticides, herbicides and pesticides.
Shampoo Ingredients Label
When I first checked, actually scrutinized, the ingredients label of a Miessence shampoo because it was a lot more expensive than other organic shampoos, the first ingredient immediately caught my attention. Aloe vera and not aqua or water was listed as the first ingredient. I would say most shampoos first ingredient is water. This is important because the shampoo is mostly made of aloe vera and not water. There was not a single ingredient that was iffy to me. I was impressed with the ingredients and was equally impressed with the results.
By now, I’m quite used to the watery consistency of organic shampoo because there is no fillers used to make the shampoo thick. Miessence is no exception. It is watery but it’s not a big deal. Really. As long the shampoo is good for my hair and health, I’m all for it. In the past, I would buy a shampoo because of its scent. Anything that smelled great was a seller to me. This was way back then before I knew anything about the chemicals in shampoos. Now that I’m aware of what some of the chemicals can do to my hair and overall health, I could care less if there wasn’t a scent. I did buy an organic shampoo that smelled just like fresh cut grass a year back. It took a few days for me to get used to the smell but after a while, it didn’t bother me at all. Again, as long as the ingredients are pure and natural, my hair is healthy, I’m fine with it.
